Emang Basadi (EB) is a non-governmental, non-profit making, women's human rights organisation formally established in 1986 in Botswana. It is a membership organisation committed to the principles of equality, justice and peace. The current membership is approximately 2 000, comprised of men and women. The Organisation's main goal is to develop action oriented strategies and mobilise women to take steps that help change their social, political, economic and legal positions in Botswana. read more

Achievements
- Lobby against polygamy legislation in Botswana
- Lobby against the Citizenship Act, which discriminated against women married to foreign men - they could not pass on their Citizenship Rights to their children.
